Peer pressure is something that everyone has faced at some point in their lives. We all like to feel part of a group, and we often copy things our friends do – like the way they dress, the music they listen to and the language they use. But sometimes that instinct can pressure us into doing things that we’re just not comfortable with and can end-up getting everyone involved into trouble, whether it’s taking drugs or ignoring school work. Following the group may seem cool in the short term, but sometimes it’s important to stick to what you believe in and carve your own path through life.
