Just because you’re leaving care it doesn’t mean you’ll be left on your own. Tower Hamlets’ Leaving Care Service is there to help plan your future as you make your first steps toward independence. Together with a Personal Advisor you can identify your skills, look into further education, discover employment opportunities and find somewhere to live. If you’ve been in care for longer than 13 weeks since your 14th birthday then you qualify for services from our Leaving Care Service, and you’ll continue to get support until you’re 21 or, if you stay in education, until you finish your course.
