Foster carers play a vital role in looking after abused and vulnerable children throughout Tower Hamlets. There’s around 53,000 children in foster care in the UK and Tower Hamlets is always looking for more carers to work with us in order to provide them with a safe, secure and happy home. Foster care ultimately aim to reunite children with their families; it can last from a few days to a few years and encompasses young children as well as older teenagers. Whatever your age, ethnicity or personal circumstances, foster care could be for you. All you need to do is prove that you can provide a stable and caring home for a child so that they have all the support needed to develop into a healthy adult.
