The Urban Adventure Base
So you’ve finished school for the week and are ready for a UAB adventure. But guess what? Just because there’s no textbooks doesn’t mean you won’t be learning something. Our activities are designed to teach problem solving skills, environmental awareness, risk awareness and fitness. You’ll also get to travel to different parts of the UK, develop new interests and meet new friends.
And if you’re really serious you can even achieve formal awards and certificates such as:
- BCU Canoe certificate
- NNAS navigation award
- NICAS climbing award
- AQA unit award
- Bikeability cycling award
